+amgD should you snub the least of us for Him or for--what was it He taught us about how much more important the rules are than expressing Love of neighbour? Obviously no question like that can be generalised--after getting my spear hole last February--a wholly otherwise puzzling thoracotomy for no reason other than this years replacement stigma--a fellow parishioner, a woman, and the most comforting of acquaintances faces; for I do seldom had talked with her, I didnt go to the retreat she arranged because I wanted to do something else, yet here she was, doing her rounds for bearing actually-Holy actually Communion for us who found ourselves getting nearly cut in half one February afternoon for no other reason I could figure out (and on top of that, they said theyd just go in through a little hole and fuzz whatever the problem was.. No idea other than waking up to THATS A HUEG ... HOLE THE SIZE OF HALF IF WHAT THE...) But I digress. We must remember why it is that He tried so hard over the centuries and we still dont get it; its actually really simple to a heart properly mortified to resist the selfishness that runs rampant today: the rules do not exist do that we blindly follow them. They exist because there is no way to use our crappy human communications, English being a particularly crappy example of, being fiull of unnecessarily confusing idiosyncrasies that were to lazy and want do what we want instead, to fix. They are the only way to communicate something-by-parameterizing. The reason why our Lord used parable instead of rules in person should make it clear (as if He didnt literally tell us that Its Not About The Rules...): a parable is even better to convey the nuances of a moral precept than rules and laws which are subject to being misapplied out of context (for how often do we see someone insust on holding someone fastidiously to rules because their heart is motivated to inconvenience someone else? That has NOTHING to do with what our Lord would have us do, and if arguably the TOTAL OPPOSITE, but let that be warning for people who still somehow think that they are heaven-bound and yet would ever walk by even one person who even looked lonely and just needed company but you told them Id love to stay and chat but I have to go to Mass now... The person who fully does that can be 100% sure to have already gotten his reward...
