.....................and I just talked with my mom and dad. Talk about flooded with emotions. I will never forget the first time they flew to DC for #EDCLobbyDay... from 18 years of fights beyond horrendous, from yelling I hate you!!!!!!! at the top of my lungs, from stealing from, screaming at, kicking, hitting, etc. them, to us healing and being a close family again (including them being among the first I call at the end of a day as special as today), to them flying out to be at Lobby Days...today, for me, was about also about them, and about my sister. They suffered so much when I was sick --so much. That they forgive me, that I forgive them, that they long ago let go of worry about whether or not I really am fully recovered...may that give YOU and your family hope. 18 years felt like a lifetime of hell when I was sick -for both me and my family. But even one year of fully healed was enough to erase all those 18 years and to simply begin anew. Please trust me when I tell you that I was the last person who ever ever thought she would have a healthy and wonderful relationship with her family again after all the suffering and all the hell... I promise you, you can fully heal.
