...and the day had started so promisingly...the kick off of Cardiff Contemporary, and even the fact that BBC Radio Wales could only manage a three minute slot to cover this major investment in the arts and creative industries of our capital city hadnt disheartened me too much...foolishly went to Wales Online to see what they had to say...and apart from presenting it in another of their bloody lists, telling us where outside of Wales people might have been / come from, or how we might know them from something else theyd previously done, I thought it not a bad piece...not surprisingly it had not been written by one of their journalists....then I came across this bit.ly/1vhPou9 that Id managed to avoid earlier this week and felt physically sick...In a week when replies to the Guardian newspaper following a (contentious) article (bit.ly/1sMfs47) pointed out the lack of a media forum for any mature debate on the future of Wales, WalesOnline couldnt have been more helpful...I was going to say I despair, and no, not because though a DT 100 stakeholder we havent been invited to this travesty, but a) that anyone should think it a good idea to make this, b) that this is WalesOnlines understanding of Welsh culture...Well, ive bloody had it with this idiotic world... I RESIGN, see you in my next life...
