...and then u have those exploited labourers who depart from their households way before dawn, only to be consigned back homes through tractors, they are packed in those lorries used to transport stock. What strikes me most and almost brings tears in my eyes is the fact that without fail, whenever u drive pass them on an ANC branded vehicle, they cling on for dear life on the bars of a truck and raise a clenched fist in salute of the liberation movement. The question is what am I doing to curb their frustrations? What do I do daily to remove their shackles and push back the frontiers of poverty? Am I what ANC expects me to be?
