We believe science is beautiful and can be taught to everyone through art and design. We think the universe is a magical place and its truest stories should no longer remain hidden behind equations and intimidating textbooks. And we plan to do this by telling the oldest story in the universe—The Story of Light. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL The year 2015 has been declared The International Year of Light 2015 and Light-based Technologies by the UN, and SOL marks one of the first-large scale international events in their calendar.
