I spent 36 years in Federal law enforcement and several decades stationed in Mexico and Central America, so I have a fairly good understanding of this scenario. This is not a humanitarian situation. It is a criminal conspiracy. These people arent getting here on their own or by accident. What we face is an organized criminal conspiracy by a very large number of people and governments to undermine and overpower our immigration and criminal justice systems and the government of Mexico is complicit in this. When DEA Agent Kiki Camarena was kidnapped, tortured for days, and murdered in Mexico in 1985, the Mexican Government refused to cooperate with the Department of Justice in the investigation and they stalled everything as much as they could. Along came Commissioner of Customs Willy Von Rabb who, without consulting with anyone including the White House, ordered the closing and sealing of all U.S. Ports of Entry from Brownsville, Texas to San Ysidro, California.
