Most editors will say this is their top tip: If you are a new writer it is easy to feel possessive about what you have written, but if you can quickly learn to separate your emotions from changes editors will make, your life as a writer will have fewer heartbreaks. Editors make changes because it is their job and they know their audience. Your message may be inspired by God, but dont hold on to each word. I did my best to learn this quickly!
