(camera talk) laughing - because earlier while I was about to use my camera at the show, my batteries died on my external flash unit.. so I was like Plan B - available light and on board pop up flash - so i do what i usually do - mess with setting till something looks decent.. and then I found my f stop button... so thats where that is! (photographers would probably be smacking me right now lol ) I seriously forgot where it was - and never use it. I always took the punk rock way of shooting i suppose - I just did what works and tried rocking it best I could. 8 years ago I never knew how my flash units would transmit to my alien bees.. and today i still dont use triggers or light meters.. although now i know how to - but I dont use them cause I dont have enough of them.. well just one but no receiver... even though i didnt know where my f stop button was.. I still knew what its function was.. so switched it to 1.8, dimmed my flash power and took the photos I posted awhile ago of my friends in the band Mirage :) I try not to hang with photographers cause they look too much into things.. Like theres days where i just snap the pic cause I just want to snap the pic for my memories.. Then they start to super over analyze it - they tell me - I dont understand the concept, dont know what your going for... when all it really was, was probably a beautiful girl making conversation with me - and I just took the pic for my personal keepsake - that I may or may not edit then post - just to remind myself of the good times ya know. So now that I refreshed my memory on my f stop button maybe Ill use it more often in the upcoming shoots.. But how the hell do you do your photos.. Its always on manual - but I use that little dimmer on the top of the camera - forgot whats its called the {+3+2+1 0 -1-2-3 } - I remember I showed Voodoo onetime cause he asked me about my shooting style. Which is basically ISO 100 - and mess with the top part of the camera - Is it aperture.. hmm Idk.. might be. So ya.. Im not a pro trained photographer - nor pro trained musician.. but yet I can do both extremely well :) Its my passion and theres no right or wrong formula to it... as long as I get the outcome I want!
