To be a student of HCMUT is my honor. Now, we come to the main point. I realize that allmost students in our university are very intelligent and dynamic. You have a wide knowledge in many fields. However, I think more than 70% students are not good at English. In order to graduate, you must gain at least 500 points in TOEIC exam. It is not a high score. But many students have dificulties to reach this level. There was a period that I became an English teacher and teached some HCMUT students. I recognize that they cannot study English well because they dont have a correct strategy in studying English. They just want to get enough score in TOEIC exam and graduate from HCMUT with this TOEIC certificate. They usually focus on reading skills, focus how to choose the right answer in TOEIC multiple choices, and forget to improve their listening, writing and speaking skills. After graduation, you must apply for a job. If you are good at all English skills, your salary will be much higher. To be excellent in English is very hard. You must spend at least 1 hour a day to practice English. Instead of playing games and chat on facebook, you should spend your time in studying English. It is necessary for your future.
