*climbs on parapet pulpit in a baby Bambi like manner as not steady on her feet* Imaginary Audience, I was talking to a lubly friend and just desired to let you know that yes, Xmas can be a horrid let down when things are not picture perfect. The compulsory Joy, the delusions that everyone else is bathing 🛀 in Bliss, the omg am failing to be filled with Happiness and you know what? It is cool. There are plenty of people who are poor, old, lonely and often all 3 who are suffering double, trapped in the very same mindset, not realising that non, not everybody is on a rocket 🚀 to heavenly Peaaaaaaace, Aaaaaaaamen;). And it is mighty fine, it is. You can be bah humbug, you can drink or hide under the duvet, you can remember that Solstice is rebirth, Faith and Hope and you can GIVE YOURSELVES A BREAK because you are off the hook, always, ok? Now Merry Xmas, Joyous Hanukkah, Lovely Solstice, Cool Yule and Bah Humbug and whatever you choose, please note - You are Loved beyond measure. Yup.
