.......contrary to popular belief, the cross IS NOT DERIVED FROM THE CRUCIFIX on which the churchs Jesus Christ died. I say the churchs Jesus Christ because there are two facets to the Jesus factor. Christ is that church-created trinitarian entity, fabricated to alleviate Jesus to man-god status to appease and placate the hedonistic Roman masses who are accustomed to high-profile deities like Zeus and his ilk. It was all a grand marketing-plan by the early Paulinists (the cultist missionaries who compromised and bastardized Mosaic laws to enroll the legion of hedonistic Romans. Note: The Jesus of reality was a circumcised Jew who observed Mosaic laws to the letter and who only wanted to open the doors of his faith to the masses which was met with opposition from the Rabbis) . Now you know why Paulinists go to church to drink blood and eat body which had its origins in Mitharism, a mythological cult religion Paul of Tarsus dabbled in. The Pauline cult beliefs, based in Rome are far removed from the doctrine, the Jesus of Humanity subscribed to. As for the cross, it was derived from the sword, a symbol of violence rather than peace which explains the Roman churchs bloody history since its inception, a good 400 odd years after the churchs Christ went up to heaven (Jesus! Give me a break). The barbaric Romans of 2000 years ago had no time to sit down and construct pretty little crosses for condemned criminals. They simply had them nailed to trees with feet on the main trunk, hands and arms on sprouting branches. Emperor Constantine, the first Roman to embrace Christianity, was reported to kneel and pray, before kissing his sword and leading his legions to butcher, rape and plunder all in the name of his new God, the churchs Christ. Ironically, the man himself rejected the Trinitarian concept and opted for the original Unitarian stand on his deathbed. That sword, (the cross-shaped hilt to be precise) rather than a fictitious cross was what became the universal symbol of Paulinist Christians till today and still headquartered in Rome. Incidentally, for the sake of argument, what if the churchs Christ was hanged rather crucified. Would those herd-mindset-ed Paulinists who blindly go to church, be making the sign of the noose before their prayer? Imagine also, churchs having nooses atop their grand steeples or better still her adherents having little nooses around their necks. Weirder still, what if their Christ was sentenced to be injected with chemicals by the ruthless Romans. Now, wouldnt making the sign of the syringe, be a tad complicated ? Wake up, you Paulinists, your blind faith has led you to a dead-end street.
