..dia u are..go on sohun..make fresh laws legalizing 6 months strikes by workers. all ancillary workers in NASS may as well go home and enjoy them salaries without working..let them also go on strike..that way we would have started going on strikes to undermine the efforts of govt in education and that will make it lawful in the eyes of reps..it is yet to be tested at our law courts whether it was the honourable minister that was ignorant or ASUU as an illitrate union is ignorant of the quenchi-quenches of indefinte strike actions..govt must not pay the ransom but sack those who dare them and shop for hands here or overseas to replace them..i think also that that govt should privatize higher education in nigeria and only regulate and support the operators.. those not given to idleness and unionism but are doing well should be made centers of excellence.. this is because the present illiterate type unionism in ASUU has no place in the private sector..out there in the private sector is either you work or you quit..there is no place for idle unionism and inefficiencies and hostage taking and ransom giving..so privatization means resourcefulness and profitability…Nigerian higher education sector is a huge waste of govt efforts left in govt hands..every tom dick and harry in ASUU feels they know better than the owners of the enterprise called federal or state universities. This has to stop.. ...for our info I saw NYSC members at our offices since last week from Mandonna University..a private school..so it confirms my earlier speculations that ASUU could not close the private schools at Igbinidion, Cannan Land, Madonna University..etc..over to you govt offtaker...
