#euco #SRM The FT reports that a compromise has been reached between the European Parliament and the Council on the single resolution mechanism which still has to be approved by the leaders of political groups before the beginning of the EU summit later today. According to the newspaper, the European Parliament received a concession on one of its strongest demands - to accelerate the top-up of the single fund and to mutualise the national compartments at an earlier stage. The size of the fund is planned to be 55 billion euros which will be collected in 8 years if the agreement is approved by the heads of state and government today. It is also reported that some concessions have been agreed on the decision-making structure, but it is difficult to judge what exactly has been agreed without the details. If the EU leaders sign the deal it can pass all procedures in time for the April session of the European Parliament euinsi.de/O6nY
