{events of my time} IN THIS SACRED MONTH OF RAMADAN This Month of RAMADAN is undoubtedly the most sacred Month in the Islamic Calendar, in which every Muslim across the world is expected to exhibit maximum Religious Devotion and tranquility in all human endeavors. It’s equally pertinent to note that Almighty ALLAH has in His infinite mercy made it easily possible for everyone of us to receive as much of His Magnanimous Blessings as we can IN THIS SACRED MONTH OF RAMADAN, and therefore we would not have any moral justification to remain the same after we might have gone through this rigorous Spiritual cleansing; those who used to deceive and cheat others at every given opportunity, the pretenders they say usually do the worst, those experts in religious and ethnic manoeuvering for personal gains, the real perpetuators of heinous crime in all its entirety, and more seriously those who had always acted ‘GOD’ when given the rare opportunity to serve as Leaders in all strata of life or whenever they are in possession of Material Wealth, all of the aforementioned ought to have repented at the end of this Great Month and then become the real ‘BORN AGAIN’ that is expected of them. Having said that, we have to also remind ourselves of the ‘Satanic Web’ that is widely spread around the Globe by the Devil’s Advocates/Agents whose traits are always Anti-God; they do encourage (in a very tactical manner) all forms of Evil through the Bloodshed of the Innocent Souls by ways of Violent Crime, Ethnic and Religious hatred among People, Corruption, Financial Crime, Socio-Political, Administrative and Economic Recklessness, Power intoxication and Oppression, Demonic Posture in Authority, name them! So long as their Devilish INTERESTS are well-protected. We have seen it glaringly happening all over the World where they (the Devil’s Advocates) have vested Economic Interests, especially the Oil-Booming Communities; Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Egypt, Palestine etc and today the same ugly trend is fast unfolding in our dear Country, Nigeria, of course that should not be surprising to us because we have abundant Crude Oil Deposit. We are probably the largest Oil-Producing Country in Africa and the Sixth in the World, hence “we are now having our own share of Global Terrorism” according to Mr. President, Dr. Jonathan. That particular Clause above referring to the Best President in the World (in the EYES of most Niger Deltans), actually necessitated this Week Edition which I would have loved to caption otherwise as ‘Clarion Call to the Northern Muslims’ perhaps it may still come in our subsequent edition. Obviously, we the Northern Muslims really need to meticulously and extra-ordinarily pray hard in this Sacred Month of Ramadan. If a Sitting President who had wielded much power to himself could utter such a devastating statement in the Public Sphere while over sixty percent of the Country, in terms of Population and Land Mass is systematically held as the Sacrificial Ram and peradventures that same President is not from that Region, my people; a minute delay is very dangerous, and the extent of the ‘Danger’ may be unpredictable. We just have to use this golden opportunity to supplicate to God Almighty for ‘His prompt and Devine Intervention.’ Today, wherever you go around the World, Northern Nigeria is negatively projected in the news at every minute in everyday Media Reports. There is no crime in saying the gospel truth that the Enemies of the MUSLIMS and the NORTHERNERS are at work; tentacles of their Ideological Warfare have almost engulfed the entire North, the Nigerian Media has maintained a deliberate centre stage especially those Southern-based Media outfits with their notable Propaganda Instruments, particularly ‘The PUNCH NEWSPAPER,’ the more we condemn and distant ourselves from the Satanic activities of the Dreaded Boko Haram across the North, the more we receive accusations from the Jonathan Administration and all Jonathanians. If the Govt. of the day is really sincere in its War Against Terrorism (WAT), let them investigate the striking statement credited to the former National Security Adviser to President Jonathan, NSA (late Gen. Patrick Azazi) and also hold responsible those who have earlier predicted Nigeria’s break-up comes 2015, the same people that promised to freeze the Accounts of the Boko Haram Members and Sponsors; meaning that they all know the Terrorists and their founders, then while punishing Innocent Nigerians particularly the Northerners? This Jonathan Govt. has no doubt made one great Achievement that will forever remain indelible which is the tremendous SUCCESS in dividing Nigeria along Ethnic and Religious Lines. The Northern Muslims and Christians are now at each other’s throat, the ethnic minorities are been instigated against the House-Fulani majorities of the North, the poor Northern Masses who are in their majority Muslims, are now subject of ridicule, arrest, detention in the East and South-South of the Country. 487 of them were recently arrested in Abia State as Boko-Haram Suspects, whereas all the right-thinking Nigerians are very much aware that the Govt. of the day is just busy playing politics with its ‘War Against Terrorism’ (WAT). The Security Arrangement for the last Governorship election in Ekiti State, which most Analysts have described as one of the best security arrangement in the world, is a clear vindication to the Northern People and their Good Leaders usually accused of being the brain behind Boko Haram. If such security arrangement would have been put in place within and around SAMBISA FORESTS, the Federal Govt. would have rescued the abducted Chibok Innocent School Girls and probably wiped out the Satanic Boko Haram Insurgency by now. Happy Ramadan to all the Muslim Faithful across the world! May we live long to witness more of this Holy Month and attain its abundant Blessings. THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!
