Insist on higher taxes, increased spending, and job killing regulation that will slow Virginias economic recovery. Demand the expansion of major spending programs that will take away from Virginias core focus, things like universal day care at tax-payer expense. Appoint cabinet officials like the sort you see in Washington today, political hacks who will work overtime to advance liberal policies. Select Board of Elections appointees who will be against measures to ensure a fair voting process that restores voter integrity to the system. Launch a full scale assault on our right to keep and bear arms. Support a bevy of social legislation designed to weaken families and stress the social agenda of the far left. Worse yet, bring Washington-style gridlock in Virginias government. If Republicans win, you can expect a very different kind of Virginia. Governor in Ken Cuccinelli who will: Stand for constitutional first principles as our Founders saw them. Reject calls for higher taxes, out-of-control spending, and senseless regulations that kill job growth. Push back on Federal encroachment that has far exceeded any sense of reality in American life. Appoint cabinet officials who will focus on whats best for Virginia, not whats best for a political agenda. Advance measures that ensure we have election laws that focus on voter integrity and fairness to all concerned. Strongly defend the Second Amendment from gun-grabbing liberals while supporting rational public safety measures that punish criminals, not law-abiding citizens. Lead the way in innovation at the state level to address the real challenges we face as a state and continue to advance Virginia as the number 1 place in the nation for businesses. More importantly, you will have a Republican Governor who understands that families are the cornerstone of society, that small businesses are the real engine of our economy, and the Constitution is the law of the land, not a random set of suggestions that can be tossed aside when they get in the way of the liberal agenda McAuliffe will advance. So its clear that as Virginians voting for the Democrats will be a disaster for us. And make no mistake about it. A vote this year for the independent candidate IS a vote for the Democrats. Really. Now the Nation: If Virginians install Terry McAuliffe as their Governor, the happiest person alive will be Hillary Clinton because her longtime political fund-raiser will be in the most powerful seat in Virginia to advance her presidential fortunes. That should tell you all you need to know about what Terry McAuliffe will do above all else: advance a liberal political agenda that puts Virginia second. Put Virginia First. Vote Republican and save Virginia from a result that we will regret for decades to come.
