#fromtheheart When I tell people - who ask me about my status that Im single, its not intentionally by choice. Many people find it strange. Almost all though are shocked by my answer, they reply in disbelief when I state how long the position has been, and, the fact that Ive also been celibate in all that time. Do I want to be married? YES! Why am I not yet betrothed to a certain man yet? God only knows. As a Christian; a Born-Again Believer who takes her faith walk seriously I choose not to sleep around, to not indulge in certain things means the practicality of things in my world are a daily test. Fighting the flesh is a battle, some days are easier than others. However, I am never defeated on my journey which in this area: temptation can be summed up in scripture 1 Timothy 6:12 - Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In realisation of those words brings me reassurance. In Christ I know I can do all things as he strengthens me, which also means I have to renew my mind each day to overcome and defeat the demons we are all troubled or burdened with. Refreshing oneself and looking to Him: the author and finisher of my faith from where my help comes from has made a hugely, positive difference all of these years. #selah I pray that who ever reads this will find it a help to face head on those issues they were to scared to confront them and have felt comdenation - usually from the Church.
