#help #support #charity #donation #cancerdonation #stomachcancer #fightcancer #cancerbenefit #donate #GoFundMe gofundme/9gdfqg UPDATE for October 12-14, 2014 – Hello everyone; David wanted to give a quick shout out and say Hello. Every day he is getting stronger and stronger. He is trying very hard to go for at least 2 to 3 walks per day to gain strength in hopes to not have to go to a Rehabilitation Center. The stent surgery did not do the entire patch job that we had hoped for. Today David went for his Barium test to check for leakages which shows bulk of the tear in covered but there is still some fluid getting through; probably from the sides of the stent either the top or the doctors believe more so from the reflux backing upwards. Also every day they are decreasing all different types of medications to wean him away from whatever his body no longer needs. Tube feedings have been increased to put the good protein through his body to heal better. Since the test today showed that small back-up leak he will still not be allowed to start a clear liquid diet. Looks like he has to wait another 5 days or so because the next Barium test is 5 days from today; before they will make a decision on being able to eat or drink anything. We were also told this morning that they sealed off his chest tubes in order to test his body and maybe get them out in a about a day or two. But after David had gone for a walk this afternoon, his nurse checked his bandages and it was found that one of his chest tubes had somehow been pulled out. We were all going crazy & concerned that possibly he might have to have another one put it. They brought up the x-ray machine and checked his chest, his breathing is good so the Drs said its okay no need for a new one in and the morning they may just pull the second one. Yeah!!!! I’m still looking for a floor contractor and watching for another sale at Lumber Liquidators. I need to find someone who has time to assist with the install and I want the Hickory vinyl flooring for both the living room & bedroom plus I was advised the stairs will need to be real hardwood but they are stairs caps, makes it easier to install. If you would like to make a donation of flooring gift cards or money, this is a major help and truly appreciated… As the time gets closer for David to come home I really need to get the condo prepared for healthy living for his return home. Keep those PRAYERS coming TO GIVE DAVID STRENGTH IN HEALING; it’s a repeated request from me but I really believe this helps him along his new journey plus gives me strength and helps to guide me to direct my strength and energy in the right direction. HUGE HUGS & LOVE I send out to all of you, as I truly appreciated all of your support for David on his Journey in Fighting Cancer! Blessed Be! Beside the GoFundMe site Donations & Cards can be mailed to me: Dawn Siedlarz-Aponte - 7-B Stonegate Circle - Branford, CT 06405 -- If you send a check, please make payable to: “Dawn Siedlarz-Aponte” because David cannot currently sign anything. Thank You!!!
