#indyref We should probably clear something else up while were at it, before we go back to getting information out to undecideds, persuading Nos and Undecideds to Yes, canvassing, leafleting, and helping neighbouring Yes groups do the same... We are very aware that the Inverkeithing Highland Games are on tomorrow. They are, after all, in Inverkeithing. Despite online accusations tonight, Yes Inverkeithing have not dropped the ball, or been lazy etc. For the last two years we have had a very successful stall at the games, and the local SNP branch had had one for 25 years. But this year our application was refused. Twice. So all our activists decided to help other local Yes Groups like Kelty, Dunfermline, Rosyth etc instead. There was no Better Together stall so why worry? Then within the last week, the Games committee reversed their decision on a third vote. When we discussed it four days ago, we were still being told there was no Better Together stall. Our activists were committed elsewhere. Still no need to worry. Now today it turns out Better Together DO have a stall. So RIC, SSP, and Women for Independence have now agreed to attend, as has the Yes Billboard trailer. And weve got a massive white Yes in a garden Preston Crescent, and a very visible Yes Saltire flying near the finishing line for the races. So not exactly lazy, not quite sat on our arses and in no way jeopardising the referendum result. Just being relentless as usual. Now if you dont mind, were off to start RE-canvassing, as well as the Kelty Mass a Canvass, Rosyth leafleting and many other things.
