#interstellar First, if you havent seen the movie, accept that the science of this movie ranges from accurate to iffy to WHAT THE SHIT. Theres a larger examination of humanity framed within the science and philosophy--and while its sort of distracting, I encourage you not to miss the forest for the trees. Second, while my movie-watching pedigree is limited, and I bet other people can name even more movies that this movie reminded them of, I was reminded a lot of both 2001: A Space Odyssey and Carl Sagans Contact. Besides that- All I can say or will say is that it was simple and wonderful, that it made me cry, that it was a wildly different movie than what I expected (as far as content is concerned) or what Im used to seeing (as far as how movies are shot and paced), and that I will probably see it again. :)
