... is it wrong to consider a #TechTopicThursday ? I heard word about Dremel doing this sometime early last year but didnt follow up too much on it. Yesterday, I was at Canadian Tire by Eaton Center when I found out that they were actually selling this (at C$1299.99 ) and the cartridge spools ( C$39.99). While, yes... that is kinda pricey for a small-ish/mid-sized 3D printer, it is still AFFORDABLE and actually gave me hope for this tech to be more easily accessible to DIY and crafters. Its existence alone makes retailers and other makerbots/3D printer interested parties pay attention and drive the move to make this tech a lot more affordable in the coming future.
