#islam #life I absolutely loved listening to this lecture. Indian Islamic history is somewhat lost amongst us Muslims and this man was truly a man of piety and justice. I really recommend listening to get a sneak peek into the life of Aurangzeb Alamgir. India is a place that is full of so many Muslims, Islam in India, once upon a time was the ruling empire and the leaders of the past worked tirelessly to implement the religion amongst the people. When you learn of what we once had, and what we lost, it is unbelievable. The Shaykh talks about how Muslims feel the loss of Andalusia was the biggest sadness for our Ummah, but in fact, no, the loss of India was even greater for the Muslims, but we just do not know our own history well enough to have seen this.
