#jobs - Amplify is a new all-rights film distribution company with an emphasis on matching quality films with the proper release strategy. Recent acquisitions include Terry Gilliams ZERO THEOREM, Terrence Malick produced ‘BETTER ANGELS’ and Belle and Sebastian music project ‘GOD HELP THE GIRL.’ Amplify’s Los Angeles office is looking for an intern to assist with office management and with our acquisitions department. Interns should be available for 2-3 days per week from 10am - 6pm. Applicants should be eager to learn the business of non-traditional film distribution, be detail oriented, and have the professionalism to work seamlessly alongside our team. Duties include various administrative tasks (e.g. packaging/shipping, answering the phones, etc), screening and evaluating films for potential acquisition, assisting in preparing for film festivals, and supporting marketing efforts for current titles.
