…… just a note … about missing PLane …. many ? ? … real facts not known yet …. … a friend posted this and it makes me think … ET .. connect here … …. just info as to how it normally works ….. I do not work for the FAA or as a commercial pilot, however I am a pilot and have flown all over Asia. The aircraft they flew was very sound, pilot had experience, and weather was not showing as an issue. It is odd that the crew did not issue a distress call if in fact they had some sort of issue or in flight mechanical problem. Standard protocol is to issue a distress call in these situations and all pilots train and will do this naturally. I think this was much more immediate in nature and something instantly took this jet down. * Rule out hi-jacking - The plane would have been tracked and spotted by now at even a 3rd world airport and certainly a unidentified plane moving into another countries restricted airspace would have been noticed. some sort of radio traffic would have taken place. Hijackers make demands and it would have already been done. * Mechanical failure - possible and if total power loss would explain radio silent, however anything short of this would allow the pilot or crew to send a distress call. Keep in mind that the pilot and crew are well aware if they go down in the ocean and want a rescue they need to send a distress call. Whatever happened took place quickly in my opinion * Mid Air Explosion - Possible and explains the sudden loss of aircraft and no distress call. This could be caused from numerous issues as past cases. wires chaffed or some other electrical issue causing fuel to ignite. It would depend on mechanical findings when wreckage is found. * Pilot Error - Even if poor decision and miscalculation would allow the crew time to radio a distress call. Unlikely pilot error in my opinion * Hostile acts - Some form of terror or rocket strike.....possible and instantly an issue and no radio call could be made. Unlikely at this point as most radicals would have claimed credit by now. Also this would seem unlikely as some sort of launch would have to have taken place out in the middle of the ocean. Possible but again, I feel unlikely at this point. In the end I hope whatever took place, happened quickly and instantly for those on board. I feel for the families and hope they get closure.
