#katniss #foster #hungergames #survivormama URGENT FOSTER NEEDED...LA AREA PLEASE!! Katniss Everdeen Mockingjay needs a foster!! Katniss was named for the lead character in the Hunger Games movies. She is brave, a survivor, and a strong woman. This momma dog with the misshapen front leg (not sure yet if a malformation or broken and never vetted/healed) had all of her puppies taken from her by another rescuer, but she was left behind along with about 35-40 other dogs we rescued from a hoarder just a few days ago. Yep, they took her baby pups and left her behind. All of the hoarded dogs were living in total squalor with no veterinary attention, emaciated and totally dehydrated. Katniss is divine though, a truly loving and gentle soul- you would think she would be leery or skeptical but in fact she is the sweetest one of the bunch. And she needs you to foster her... Can you give this Mama...who has been through SO much...a chance to thrive? What we know for sure is that the first real step in recovery from a tough past for these dogs is a foster home...love, and just for someone to show them theyre gonna be OK.
