If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Thoughts: Paul repeats this message in 1 Cor. CH 6. The context in CH 3 is of good works, and in CH 6 it is about not being bound to Jewish law, but not being stupid either. The point is that both the “temple” and our bodies are a places of worship. We are to live our lives as a living praise and worship to God by what we do and who we are. Questions: 1. Does your body glorify God? What does that mean? 2. Is a healthy lifestyle the equivalent to maintaining the temple? (Lord help me) 3. How can you use yourself as a living sacrifice to God? Prayer: “All to Jesus I surrender; all to him I freely give; I will ever love and trust him, in his presence daily live.
