***my word of study for today*** NAR-CIS-SIS-TIC [ISM]: 1. having an overly excessive or erotic interenst in oneself and ones physical appearance; a person who is TOTALLY ABSORBED; one that is diplomatic, proper, and APPEARING to care, but in reality DOES NOT; a personality disorder / a mental disorder in which people have an INFLATED SENSE OF THEIR OWN IMPORTANCE AND A DEEP NEED FOR ADMIRATION; a person who believes the world revolves around them; people with narcissictic personalities tend to be charming individuals, BUT THE CHARM IS USED AS A MEANS TO AN END; NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER [NPD] IS A MENTAL CONDITION IN WHICH SUFFERERS HAVE AN INFLATED OPINION OF THEMSELVES AND AN INTENSE NEED FOR THE ADMIRATION AND ATTENTION OF OTHERS; NARCISSISTS ARE USUALLY DESCRIBED AS ARROGANT AND SELF-CENTERED; PEOPLE WITH [NPD] CAN BE DEFENSIVE AND REACT POORLY TO CRITICISM; THEY OFTEN OVERLY EXXAGERATE THEIR OWN TALENTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS while downplaying those of others; THEY ARE USUALLY PREOCCUPIED WITH POWER, SUCCESS, AND BEAUTY; SUFFERERS OFTEN ENGAGE IN COMPULSIVE AND DECEPTIVE BEHAVIOR. * Now, the first thing WE should do when considering the above definition of this word, is to FIRST ASK OURSELVES IF THIS IS WHO WE ARE? DO WE SEE THESE CHARACTERISTICS WITHIN OURSELVES?....The next thing WE should do, is to ASK OURSELVES DO WE KNOW ANYONE WHO FITS THIS CHARACTER DESCRIPTION? AND IF WE DO, THEN IT WOULD BE WISE TO DISTANT OURSELVES, LESS WE BECOME ENGULFED AND CONSUMED BY SOMEONE ELSES EGO AND LOST IN THE SELF VANITY OF THEIR SHADOW. LIKE I SAID, PICTURES TELL SOOOOO MANY LIES, but if you LOOK CLOSE ENOUGH WITH THE CREATORS SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT, you will be able to SEE THE TRUTH
