..our Beloved Prophet Sayyiduna RasulAllah [peace n blessings be upon him] said: ..he(/she) who does not show mercy to people.., Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] also does not show mercy to him(/her)... [Bukhari] though when we want to be mean to somebody or punish them for somethin theyve done to us.., we are able to give ourselves a hundred justifications for it.. rather this hadeeth gives us one huge compellin reason to put our anger n meanness aside.., n practice forgiveness n gentleness instead.., if indeed we want Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] to forgive our numerous sins on daily basis.. no one can do without Allahs [Almighty n Glorious is He] mercy.., so dont shut the door of goodness on yourself by bein petty with others.. its not worth it.., for Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] says: ..hold to forgiveness.., command what is right.., n turn away from the ignorant... [HQ 7: 199] in another verse Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] commands: … they should rather pardon n overlook.. would ye not love Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] to forgive ye..? Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] is Ever-Forgivin.., Most Merciful... [HQ 24:22] therefore.., those who do not abide by the moral values of the Holy Quran find it very difficult to forgive others.. cause.., they are easily angered by any error committed.. however.., Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] has advised the faithful that forgiveness is more proper: ..the repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it.. but if someone pardons n puts things right.., his reward is with Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He]… [HQ 42:40] ... but if ye pardon n exonerate n forgive.., Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] is Ever-Forgivin.., Most Merciful... [HQ 64: 14] it has also been revealed in the Holy Quran that forgiveness is a superior moral trait: ..but if someone is steadfast n forgives.., that is the most resolute course to follow... [HQ 42:43] for that reason.., believers are forgivin.., compassionate n tolerant people who.., as revealed in the Holy Quran.., ... control their rage n pardon other people... [HQ 3:134] ..we ask Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] to aid us to forgive one another... ..may Allah [Almighty n Glorious is He] have mercy upon us all n forgive us our past.., present n future sins... ..ameen...!
