*please read .. Im having a sentimental moment* Yesterday, my daughter got married .. and a massive amount of HEALING happened between her and her dad, and ME and my first husband. Beyond the FAIRYTALE WEDDING and all the fine trimmings, it was miraculous to be a family once again. Its been a long journey (and extremely challenging at times), yet for one whole day, we were able to just be. There was HUGE LOVE from all of us, for all of us .. and it was evident to everyone that something wonderful was happening. I am soooo proud of my daughter and my ex-husband. They have grown so much in the last few weeks, and as she said in her wedding speech I am so happy to finally have a relationship with my dad .. and what a precious thing to have! The way I see it, the past is in the past. We make choices. We have consequences from those choices. We move on. Yet there is ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) an opportunity to heal from our past, and even say sorry. We can make different choices at any moment. Sometimes you just need to be brave enough to make them .. and accept Miracles can happen when you do!
