(previously posted by Donna Lee Nardo and Chase Kloetzke) Ill throw in my hypothesis or speculative theory: The energy released by this meteor could have triggered Ball Lightning or other such plasma phenomenon. Plasma is the 4th state of matter, and it is not well understood. Such as why it can adhere and self-sustain for a period of time as an enclosed ball, and other unusual configurations. Perhaps it produces its own electromagnetic or quantum fields, so as to oppose gravity and other physical forces. A bigger question that might arise, is what exactly is Plasma and its nature ?
