*rant/vent* When I was pregnant with Dominic I went to every appointment in Vegas by myself. Sometimes Id get dropped off and left for hours. I was cheated on, forced to do things I wasnt okay with and was emotionally abused. When I finally decided to go home my family was there 100% my mom went to every doctors appointment with me. She held my hand when I was in labor. She spent every night up with me and baby Dominic and even took him for me so I could rest. My dad was the same way. When Dominic was a month old my parents paid for me to fly out to Vegas to see Dominics biological family. Mostly because I felt guilty. I didnt want my son to grow up without a dad or another family . When I was out there a friend of mine at the times mom spent more time with Dominic then his family did and I ended up leaving early because a cockroach ran across my sons foot. When my son was around 4 months old I decided to cut ties with his biological family when none of them contacted me after I left in august. It became clear to me that id rather my son have 1 family then be associated with people who dont care about him. The only person who did contact me was his dad and he did a few times and never asked about my son. Only about me. When Dominic was 9 months old I started hanging out with Levi and everything changed. Levi took Dominic everywhere. He thought him so much. Levis family accepted my son with open arms. He was apart of that family that he has no blood dna connection to. Even now they may not always treat my son as equal as his brother but they do love him. So in 4 years his father has made minimal contact and when he he did it was usually to get under my skin. And his family tried 1 time with a hey can we talk my son is the smartest 4 year old Ive ever mey. Hes kind, sweet, caring, loving. He has a great life filled with family and friends. He knows he he is loved and wanted. And And for this I dont regret any choice I have made when it comes to Dominic. And I thank each and everyone one of you who love and support my son.
