*sentimental post* Today, my favorite couple, Tristan Potter-Strait and Aaron Strait, are moving to New Jersey. Tristan has always been there for Paige and I growing up even when she was in college. She never missed important games, ceremonies, or events. She cheered the loudest, proudly shouting thats my sister! I remember when she left for college. I was very sad about the change I had to deal with. Household dynamics I had been used to for 14 years suddenly changed. But a few years down that road, Paige and I joined the same college as Tristan! 1-2 times a week, Id stop by her office on campus and visit with her. She would help me with college questions and we would chit chat about random life things. Then she graduated (again) and landed a new job at a different university. So Paige, Tristan, and I planned dinner dates in Denton or at her house. She always cooked the best meals for us while we watched movies, UK basketball, or some cheesy movie Aaron picked out. These special moments of living near each other are what I will miss the most. Theres nothing like having a sister to rely on! HOWEVER, all 3 of us have overcome changes together and have still made our sister time work quite successfully. We have already planned on Skyping, seeing each other over the holidays, and visiting each other on breaks. Paige and I are especially excited to see New Jersey next summer! So although Tristan wont be close to us in proximity, our relationships with each other only become stronger through the years as we find ways to connect and be the best sisters possible! I love you Tristan! Good luck on your new life in a new place. Im so proud that you and Aaron are brave and adventurous. I hope you learn a lot and see things in a new perspective (which I know you will). I cant wait to visit your future, cozy, perfect New England home and I am already in the Christmas Spirit because we will all be together again!
