Some days ago, i wrote about the discovery of closed and petrified clams and seashells 26,000 feet on Mount Everest by Edmund Hillary in 1965 (?). How did millions of clams and seashells being aquatic life get to the peak of the mother of all mountains? I did my best to extraopolate from a Global Flood, which is the only plausible explanation that could make sense for such phenomenon. But AAFs ranted endlessly in defiance of the evidence. In 1995, a diver strayed to the south coast of Yonaguni in Japan and stumbled on these awe-inspiring underwater ruins. These ancient submerged ruins bear several marks of human designs (such as the plus signs, v-shapes, staircases, streets, etc.) and some experts have argued that they were designed by ancient humans, judging by the designs. But some Archeologists have also argued that these underwater architecture was carved by natural phenomena (you and i can guess where that is coming from). But even these naturalists concede that the underwater ruins must have had some early contact with human involvement (because they couldnt play the Ostrich too long). By secular dating method, these ruins of ancient civilization was dated to be 10,000 BC. But the real controversy, apart from the issue of human design or natural process, was and still is how these peculiar structures found their way to the bottom of sea in Yonaguni. It has been proposed that the ancient ruins may have submerged due to earthquakes since the area is earthquake-prone, and/or that it may have been that the structures sunk as the sea level rose over a long period of time and covered the ancient city-like rocks. One of the most astounding features of the monolithic rock was that it looks like it fell because the evidence of human design was so compelling. Prof. Stephen Jay Gould once said: Facts do not speak for themselves, they are read in the light of theory. The point is, scientists in interpreting phenomena and data do not always follow the evidence wherever it leads. They have to read and interpret the facts/data through the lens of their peer reviewed theory. Hence, every scientist by default interprets data/facts from a biased point of view. They always have their starting assumptions. Therefore, when i read the article about this historic find, none of the experts ever mentioned the possibility and plausibility of a worldwide Global Flood with potential to cause such well preserved ancient civilization to be submerged with sub-surfaces down to 100 feet. The debate as to how it happened still rages on. Maybe, just maybe, this is another historic monument to the historicity of a worldwide flood. Why is mainstream science is blind to clues, even when they are hidden in plain sight? The bible says the fountains of the deep were broken (causing rapid plate tectonics and rapid sedimentation) and that the whole earth was covered with Flood. Surely, many cities and civilizations of the time must have been covered in the deluge, with a few to be forever submerged due to shifts in plate tectonics. This is given credence by several versions of Global Floods in different folklores of many cultures. Why is no one thinking: Global Flood? ...professing to be wise, they became fools.
