... some interesting info about the Groovie Goolies show that some people may have forgotten over the years ... the show was originally called Sabrina & The Groovie Goolies, and shown on CBS Saturday mornings at 9:00am in 1970 in an hour long format. It was shown that way for that first year only. It had a different theme song, which, while I do have the audio, I dont have the video portion. After that year, the lyrics were changed to the opening theme, and the Sabrina segments were removed and used in her own show. The show was then trimmed down to a half hour format for all future rebroadcasts, and the animation to the opening theme was changed to use mostly animation from the Monster Trio song segment. I would love to find the animation to the original opening though!!! I will try to post the original theme music soon.
