“...some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit, it came up and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” The Word of God found rich soil in the womb of a virgin. He still yields good fruit and in the same way that Jesus is conceived by the Holy Spirit in the hearts of men and women today He was conceived by the Holy Spirit 2,000 years ago, in the fullness of time. At the ordained time, purposed by God for the salvation of the world. The Holy Spirit still overshadows those who are willing, those who will say, Let be done unto me as the Lord has said. Jesus is still seen in the most unusual people and at the most inexpected times. When the angel, the messenger, spoke the Word of the Lord to that little virgin girl, that Seed found good ground in the most unexpected place. Today we may feel as though we are unable to conceive or bring forth fruit, but the Holy Spirit still reveals Jesus to the world.
