((sorry a day late.....)) Tuesday Treasures by Janie NUMBER TWENTY Tuesday, July 30, 2013 I’ve learned this lesson so many times before. Why can’t I just remember? Today, I spent much time trying to sort out what we should do after my husband is finished working at Disneyworld. He got his job six months ago. We thought we’d stay in Florida one or probably two years to really enjoy the adventure of Disney life to the max. So today, I began to worry about the future. Where should we live? What will we do with our house? Who should work? What should we do? Where should we go? What will we do after Disney? Whoa..........! There’s still today and the days to come. We still have the NOW focus of our Florida church, our Disney friends, our adventures in the parks and resorts, the fun of being close to the beach! Focus on today! Walk in the steps of today. The Lord says bloom where I have planted you today. Care take and love the people I have given you today! Do the tasks I set in front of you today and let the tomorrows take care of themselves. We only have this moment to be all GOD means for us to be. IF we do this using the best we have then we have met our task for today. We can be satisfied and wait patiently for the next task. My concern for next year and the next year is unworthy of my time today. I think GOD would say to me: “Put your focus on me, place your feet in the present and accomplish what I have for you in this moment.” Do all to please HIM-in every minute of every day. I Corinthians 10:31 HE makes it all beautiful in HIS time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 Help me keep my heart, mind, and feet planning on today thanks father GOD. Amen
