#stlwx #mowx #ilwx #stl Monday marks the start of another short work week. It will be dry and seasonably chilly with daytime temps warming into the upper 30s to near 40. The big news will be a strong arctic front that will move through the region late Monday night into Tuesday. This front will usher in some of the coldest air of the season so far. Temperatures Tuesday will not warm out of the 20s...with overnight lows into Wednesday morning tumbling into the single digits and lower teens. There is a storm system we are watching closely for Friday into the weekend. Too early to say much more than its a watcher with a risk of everything...from cold rain to a healthy winter mix. So stay tuned! Now... if you were watching the 9pm newscast you saw we are in a new, temporary news and weather center. Today marks the first public sign of hard work that has been underway behind the scenes for several months. In late January, the final product will debut with a brand new set and fresh new graphics. We have all the same tools...just jammed into a slightly less glitzy closet :) Obviously, lots more work to do... but something to look forward to during the long cold winter. Have a good week. Chris
