#tbt Grant never had the easiest life. These are his first two hospitalizations. When he was a baby any little sickness he would get would go to his lungs and give him breathing complications. In the first picture he was almost 5 months old and hospitalized for bronchitis and in the second picture he was 9 months old and was hospitalized for pneumonia. He never had it easy but he was always a fighter. We love and miss you son! On a side note and reason for the bbq fundraiser that was posted the other day; at the time of the second picture we went from a two income family that was doing well to a one income family that was just getting by. We are thankful we were taught to be frugal and we kept our bills manageable to one income. However, being a one income family has made it difficult to cover debts and expenses incurred due to Grants treatments. Considering the total cost of over $2,000,000 in treatment for Grant our remaining debts and expenses are less than 1% of his total treatment cost due an AMAZING community and church family and GREAT insurance. If you are local know that your tickets are being used keep us whole as a family finically and not to enrich our lives or to profit off of his death. If you dont feel motivated purchase a ticket that is fine as well, as long as you do help with a cause that the Lord does lay on your heart. Be it help for a sick kid, a poor family in need of clothes, food, and etc., or numerous other scenarios. We are truly blessed to walk away from this journey with such minimal debt at this point from our journey because, many families are not as fortunate as we are which, is also one of our motivations for starting Grants Foundation.
