#tbt #throwbackthursdays #throwbackthursday: Count Duckula A British Danger Mouse spin-off starring one of the recurring villains who is an anthropomorphic duck send-up of Dracula, which aired in the 80s on Nickelodeon. At that time, I had no idea it was a Danger Mouse spin-off! I saw some episodes of it as a kid and remember being mildly interested, and the theme song is pretty catchy. I remember some episodes being particularly weird and dream-like, such as one where the cast is trapped in an obnoxiously cute candyland world, and another where their heads switch bodies. Most of the humor came from Duckula being extremely unconventional in that hes a VEGETARIAN vampire, and is a bit of a slacker and show-off. The British actor even put on a relatively convincing American accent for him!
