Expression is a teachers stock in trade, the commodity she sells to her employer in exchange for a salary. Thus, the court concluded, it is the educational institution that has a right to academic freedom, not the individual teacher. So speaks the mind-dead voice of corporatism--which is little more than fascism with better manners. And its not just the US that its taking over. Here in Canada it has become the underlying policy of Stephen Harpers Conservative government.
