the norm in African American sitcoms and movies is to be overtly goofy and non critical even when handling the sensitive subjects. I recall Diff world and Meteor Man treating the history with the same type of disrespect. To me it simply looks like a lack of creativity or balance within the formulaic approach. The show should be titled The same O Sambo. Give the show a look for me though. I have better fish to fry. Post Obama era is a bit different than my idea of Black. And yes my idea is just that a narrow perspective. As this show seems to be. ~w
