:: the reason wearing head dresses to music festivals is offensive....this will put it into perspective...head dresses are traditionally worn by native people who have earned the feathers by brave actions in battle (hence the name War Bonnet). it is considered honorable to have these feathers, as they are a symbol of valor. Now...what is earned by people in for example the Army? you get medal of honor or silver star or whatnot...would it be okay for people to start to wear medals or manufactured medals for bling, obviously not earning them or even being related to the source of the medal.
