then welcome age and fear not sorrow, Todays no better than tomorrow or the yesterday that flies by the lowlight in your eyes, by the love that in me lies. I know we grow more lovely growing wise. It did not credit an author, I thought it sounded like the lilt and logic of Shakespeare but I could not recall so I did a google search. It suggested American poet Alice Corbin, born in St. Louis 1881. It is last verse of her delightful poem Two Voices. One day I will memorize the entire poem. I would encourage you to check it out when you can. I too, must brush up on my English literature. 40 years after I first found this verse, I still think it speaks volumes and is appropriate to read in the days of my 60th birthday.
