“this is not the one I dreamed about!! this is not the spouse I wanted to live with!!” A sad discovery some brothers and sisters face after marriage when they find out that all their dreams about a perfect spouse are vanishedleaving behind a big disappointed. So this is an advice for me and also for you dear muslim so that we never face the same situation in shaa Allah : “your future spouse won’t be your knight with shining armor who will take you away on his white horse, He won’t be your charming prince who wouldmake you live in his beautiful kingdom, He won’t be your hero who will save you … Wake up and get rid of your dreamy world. Dream will always be dream, life is not a fairy tale. Your future spouse is reality. He/she is not coming from a fairy tale, he/she is not a character in a romantic book, He/she will be your reality which Allah chose for you and you must accept it. You may wish for tenderness, security and romance in your future spouse but you forget that he/she is a human who commits mistakes, sometimes he/she is sad, angry, depressed and harsh! he/she won’t be always sweet to you, he/she won’t always accomplish all your demands! It’s won’t be his fault but it will be yours because you ‘re having high expectations about him/her! You are not preparing yourself for the worst situations Remember that life is not always a spring or apath covered with roses! So dear muslim, stop dreaming, start thinking rationally about your reality and rely on Allah Let yourself meet a real spouse and not an imaginary one! Don’t have high expectation so that you don’t be disappointed at the end.”
