£thousands of Greater Manchester Council taxpayers money were spent today on policing an Islamophobic, race hate motivated rally in Bolton organised by the Nazi North West Infidels and National Front. The main A666 road to Blackburn was closed for almost two hours, and a hundred+ police and the GMPs Tactical Aid Unit mobilised to facilitate the protest of 200 or so, predominantly male, die-hard knuckle dragging bigots (some having travelled from as far afield as Scotland and the North East) close to the site of a proposed new Mosque in the Astley Bridge area of the town. If the sun shines on the righteous, then the miserable rainy weather which greeted them was a good indicator of how generally unwelcome the entire lot of them are in the town. Another was the greater number of Boltonians of all faiths and none, as well as all races, who attended the local TUC called counter-protest. Well done to them and the organisers. We think two of the fascists were arrested, and the rest of them escorted to the outskirts of the town by the Police after their rally on Blackburn Road. Wherever it was, the message of the vast majority of Bolton people can only be ...dont come back!
