#throwbackthursday TV Show of the Week: Batman (1966-1968) with Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. This corny tongue in cheek show with the words bam, pow, zap appearing during fight scenes was the rage at this time. Movie stars lined up to poke their head out the window for cameo appearances. When I was a kid, the show didnt seem corny. I had a Batman lunchbox, nightlight, T-shirt, and waste can. To me, it was a story about two crime fighting heroes, good guys, who did the right thing no matter what. I wanted to be like that.
