A sweetheart in the musicians arena, and singers & musicians alike will tell you how much they adore & appreciate her vocal skills. Singing since the age of 4, Thereses has been entertaining the world with her many talents for over 20 years.Therese has opened up for such acts as The Whispers, The Isley Bro, Mary J. Blige , Erica Badu, Musiq...and many more. Therese has a style & grace to command the respect and admiration of her audiences. Performing on many stages & with many top musicians. She is at the top of her game & Shine is the hottest party band around the Rochester and the Tri State area are in for a real treat with this group. Ric Robinson — Vocals, Keys & Percussion, DJ Singing since he was a 7 years old, Ric has been amazing his audiences with his talents for over 30 years. He has been performing semi professionally on stage since the early age of 14. Always managing to play with the areas top musicians in the areas hottest bands, Ric has honed his craft & created a name for himself opening for such acts as Clarence Clemons, Frankie Beverly & Maze, The Winans & Fred hammond. And touring both locally & abroad. Ric has won many awards in the R&B & Gospel arenas. He has recorded on many records and is currently recording his first Jazz style cd. Rics first love being the stage he is enjoying most his new band Shine & the multi talented team of musicians he is now priviledged to work with. Tearing up the Tri state area is what this new band is doing.....and Ric is having a ball. Bree Draper — Vocals Bree Draper has been singing, in the words of her parents, “from the time she could talk”. An alumnus of the internationally-acclaimed Greece Athena Show Choir, Bree has performed with various groups over the last 20 years, including the RIT Singers, and local bands 98% and Circuit 7. Her solo highlights include being the opening act for Wynton Marsalis Septet’s jazz saxophonist Wessell “Warmdaddy” Anderson, and being a Top 10 finalist in the 2013 Lovin’ Cup Idol Competition. Among her many hobbies is supporting Rochester’s local music scene, where she is often called upon to “sit in” with the artists. Bree is especially pleased to be a part of Shine’s vocal trifecta, as it gives her the unique opportunity to perform with lifelong “sista-friend” Therese Lott. Photo credit: Lamonte GPhotography John Viviani — Electric and Acoustic Guitars/BG Vocals John Viviani began playing the guitar at the age of five and teaching guitar at the age of seventeen. John has worked with some of the most talented young guitarists in the Rochester area and currently teaches at Northfield Music in Pittsford. His previous original band Filthy Funk (2000-2011) released three albums and was a featured act three times at the Rochester International Jazz Festival. John also released a solo guitar jazz/funk album called Tasty Licks (2007) that was featured in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and is available on iTunes. Shine and Blue Falcon, an original rock band, are his latest creative outlets. John is excited to be playing in Shine with such a talented group of veteran musicians and is confident that the band has what it takes to bring that special element to any event. Zac Culliton — Bass Before moving to Rochester Zac honed his tallents on the Boston scene for many years with top blues, pop, rock and country acts, working as a session player with Groove Factory Records, Night Trane Studios and many artists, and was even awarded a Bostons Best by Improper Bostonian magazine. Zacs solid bass lines and no-nonsense style of playing add tightness to the Shine rhythm section and keep people moving on the dance floor. John Gabriele — Keyboards Jonathan Stevens — Drums and percussion/BG Vocals Jonathan Stevens is a drummer/producer in the Rochester, NY area. He has been playing since he was five years old and began playing professionally at fourteen. He also spent many years in Los Angeles where he worked in many studios, played with many groups, and toured up and down the west coast. He spent many years in the band Dizzy Monk where he recorded and toured extensively. He is on many records and has played with musicians and groups such as Gap Mangione, Doc Severinsen, Ike Sturm, Taylor Mesple, Gloria Gaynor, The Newsboys, Kitten, and Paloma.
