What we know from the owners who surrendered him is that nobody seems to have spent much time teaching this little guy how to grow from a cute puppy to a good grown up dog. He jumps, he hates walking on a leash, he doesn’t like to share his food, his toys, his rawhide. But, look closely at Lucas’ behavioral eval…even though he never lived with other dogs, he did just fine on the dog on dog item. So tonight, Lucas needs an experienced little dog owner to take him in hand and teach him all those things he’s missed out on. He needs to learn that a little prince like him should walk on a leash nicely, that he can get more treats by sitting then by jumping, and that the belly rubs he can get make all that learning worthwhile. In exchange, the human who takes Lucas will end up with a real cutie pie who will bring smile to your face, who will let you share your bed with him (and your lap, and your living room chair). If you’re that human, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Lucas. At one year old, he’s not a “throwaway lost cause”. Do it now because tomorrow ACC will continue on their track that nobody could ever want Lucas and he will be gone because he’s a baby who never got taught right.https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=718190624860486&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=1&relevant_count=1
