If you set small achievable goals you will start to see progress in your life * do something kind. Even a small kind gesture can make you feel much better about things * write your own affirmations. Swap the your not good enough or youll never achieve anything for Im happy or I am getting healthier and more fit every day etc * focus on what is already good in your life and look for ways to build onto those good things. Eg you have a great relationship with your spouse and want to have more date nights. You love a certain aspect of your job and want to spend more time in that area.
