And do let us know if you are published! xxx (via Jessica Harrison) Whilst many of the worlds more environmentally responsible governments are stepping up their efforts to protect us from toxic chemical exposure Australia takes another disappointing step backwards! Only with sustained pressure from our communities will this change so please let your federal government officials know that this is not ok. The federal government may be taking a backwards step with regards to our food safety however, with regard to getting toxic chemicals off our streets and out of our playgrounds your efforts are really starting to work. A number of Melbournes City Councils are now starting to take a serious look at non-toxic weed management. This is very encouraging but we still have a long way to go so please keep the pressure on your local councils to make a better choice!
