: when I overhear complaints about the number of Hispanic ppl in US or Asians in Aus, I think Nazi Apartheid KKK. The Mexican and Indigenous Americans/Asians and Indigenous Australians are native to the region so of course theres going to be a lot of them around the region. What is most unusual and preposterous is to have an All White apartheid mindset about US or Aus. Not even White settlers in Africa attempted to completely negate the existance of Africans living in Africa, so this lays bare the ridiculousness that is Australias mythology of self and the expectation by many White Australians to see a fulfilment of their perceived right to view a land of Whites-mostly beaches and Whites-mostly public spaces (which was one of the subtexts underscoring the Cronulla Riots on the 2005 Australia Day). As we approach Australia Day, the gospel needs to go out to these unreached people groups of yobs in their white enclaves, they need to be disbanded and woken to the reality that they are living in a region which isnt the far reaches of Europe :P
